1. Acceptance of terms
By using Synion (the "Service") you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, able to form binding contracts, and agree to these Terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Where an AI agent uses the Service on your account, you are the party bound by these Terms and responsible for what that agent does.
2. Service description
Synion is a media production service operated through an application programming interface built for AI agents (the BEST protocol) and a web account. It records walkthroughs of software you direct it to, writes and voices scripts from them, renders video from that material, meters that usage, and issues API keys to agents you approve. Generated content is produced automatically and may contain errors, omissions or artefacts; you are responsible for reviewing it before you rely on it or publish it.
3. Your account and your API key
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in methods (passkeys, email) confidential. Your account holds a single API key at a time. Anyone or anything holding that key can use the Service on your account and consume its quota. Approving an agent through the activation page issues that agent a key and replaces any key you already had; you may replace or revoke the key at any time from your account page. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by agents you approved.
4. Agents
An agent may request access to your account by presenting you a short code. Access is granted only when you approve the request while signed in. We never grant an agent access on your behalf, and we do not verify who operates an agent: the label an agent shows you is written by the agent. Approve only agents you recognise.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the material you or your agents provide (prompts, briefs, uploaded recordings and images) and of the media generated from it. You grant us the licence needed to process that content in order to provide the Service, including passing it to the providers named in the Privacy Notice. You must have the rights to any material you upload or link, and you must not provide unlawful, infringing or harmful content.
6. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, infringing or that depicts real people without their consent; attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits or access controls; probe registrations or keys that are not yours; or interfere with the Service or other users. Agents are expected to follow the same rules; an agent that does not may have its key revoked.
7. Quotas and the beta programme
The Service is currently offered in beta, free of charge, at our discretion, with the monthly quota shown on your account page. Features, models, quotas and limits may change or be withdrawn without notice. Beta users incur no financial obligation.
8. Third-party services
Authentication is provided by Hanko. Generation, speech synthesis, rendering and hosting rely on third-party providers acting as our processors, listed in the Privacy Notice. Their availability affects the Service; we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss arising from generated content you chose to rely on or publish, or for actions taken on your account by an agent you approved. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law, including consumer rights.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time, revoke any key, and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts, or revoke keys, that breach these Terms.
11. Data retention and deletion
Account data and generated media are kept while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us; see the Privacy Notice for details and retention periods.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced on the account page and in the API manifest; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of London, England have exclusive jurisdiction.
